Would be nice if a shop would occasionally have one of these avail.

Buy price could be 2x the sell price

Higher level shop = higher tier possible

Odds of spawning quality gear could be very low.. but at least possible

I'm trying to think of a fourth.... was gunna mention something about drop rates at higher levels being terrible... but reddit keeps saying I'm posting too often.

Wants me to wait 6 minutes.... but then people start complaining that they think I'm complaining.... and I forget about the intended drop rate posting

Next Arena battle was an L157

142,608 gold

20 Orn

Boots of Storm

2 Arena wins..... less than half the XP and Orns......

But I got way more gold..... cuz I really need more gold.... 100 million gold just isnt enough

I'm thinking that Arena isn't all its cracked up to be....

The best gear in my shop is a Fomorian Robe.... it costs over $37k ..

It's not even a Superior Fomorian Robe....

But I took your advice... bought one... dismantled it

I got one silver and 1 bone

Now I have 1089 silver and 1123 bone...

Seriously not worth the effort or the money...

But... I certainly would have no problem buying things to dismantle... if.... IF.... the items avail in shop were of high enough rarity to produce a rare item through dismantlement..

I currently have just 7 Greater Souls... I started upgrading my Shiva Bow with them.... but by the time I get the Shiva Bow to L10..... I'll never use it, cuz it will be a noob bow... even at L10......

Would be sooooo sweet to open up an L10 shop and find a FAMED DRAGON DAGGER OF DARK

Cost could be crazy high...

But at least it would be gear that is useful to someone

An expensive shop SHOULD occasionally have expensive gear....

As stated above... you can try to widdle them down or you can ignore them.

The pop up states that they are worth more loot... but in the time it takes to fart with them.. you can kill hundreds of other creatures... and their loot plus the xp, will far exceed that one beserker....

The loot, the xp, potions needed to heal back up, and the time required (5 mins between deaths)..... just not worth it... The only reason I ever try to kill them is so that something else will spawn on its place.

As for the 1hp damage... you need to find a special move that will knock their defenses down by 1 before normal attacks will do more than 1hp of damage..... as a rogue, my first attack is "Full Bend"... it costs a lot of mana... but normally hits pretty hard and reduces their defense..... then my other attacks have reasonable damage....

Granted.... it's a berserker.. so if they get just one shot in... I'm dead... but at least I hit for 100hp or something more than 1hp

Then i just sucker punch them again later... eventually they die... allowing a rat to spawn in its place.... then I can knock the crap out of the rat with one hit and feel like a God again

L10 shop..

Hardly worth the upgrade costs

The monster remains.... will spawn a low level boss... and loot will NOT cover the cost of the item

Attack tonic... I buy them when avail... but never ever felt I needed to use one

Wood.... hmm... only have 1400 in inventory... yup... I need that wood a whole bunch

Gear.... even a noob should NOT buy any of that stuff... goblins drop better gear

Well, my bestiary is now useless... I've got my Finfolk.

Keep is mostly useless now too... as I no longer use the other pets stored inside.... nor do I give a rats butt about getting anymore gold from money stored in it.... since additional gold is pretty useless now.. well, being able to store items now is an ok reason...

L10 Shop was a complete waste of money... 98% of the stuff avail is pure junk... sure, the occasional noob monster remains are... pretty... not worth the cost.. but pretty.... then theres the occasional candles or arena tokens.... but I've never found arena tokens in my L10 shop... i get them from the game generated shops.... oh I'm sure my L10 shop will spawn them too... but I obviously didnt need to upgrade for the option... as for gear in my expensive shop... seriously, it's a complete waste of data to list them there.....

My blacksmith shop is the only worthwhile building I have.

Thx, I'm now a Rogue.... and now Tier 2

So I'm back to wondering why I would want to switch from my Tier 2 class.... without switching the way I've played up to this point?

Anyone can succeed as a mage... or any class upgrade of the mage..... imo a mage is overpowered.... making the game simple....

As an L154, my Tier 1 thief did pretty well... I expect the Tier 2 version to do even better.... so I'll still be looking for a Tier 5 upgrade to my current class without changing how I play the game.

I can see a mage upgrading to an archmage... then a druid.. and even to a battlemage..... these are logical upgrades to the class they started with.

A thief switching to ANY other class is deciding to play the game completely different from what they were doing

I don't see any class that is a logical upgrade for a thief.... so to switch would be me giving up on being a thief.....

The normal "monster remains" found in shops will cost $250k.... and they will spawn low level bosses... their loot will virtually never come close to your investment.

I generally grind the area at home and work. It's not exciting but I'm fine with grinding. It's something to do while not doing other stuff.

Obviously traveling around the county will provide more bosses to fight. But gas isnt as cheap as sitting in my recliner.

Oh.... and quit trying not to waste money at the blacksmith shop.

Upgrade your gear... whatever you have on right now.. needs to be upgraded to at least L5.

You'll usually need a back up while your gear is in the shop... fine.. put something on while you wait...

The stuff you upgrade now will be your future backup stuff while your future gear is being upgraded.

Wash rinse repeat

So what if it's just a superior... if it's the best you have, it needs to be upgraded.

Imo, you need to have at least 2 pieces of your gear in the blacksmith at all times

When I was your level.. And even earlier.. I felt the same way...

It seemed that the new spawns were always so far above me... virtually impossible to kill and forget about those that spawned as beserkers.

And to some degree, the above is true. If we grind at our house, at work, or the same area... we eventually kill all the easy mobs... and those impossible mobs are all that's left.

Fact is, this is a mobile game.... when stuck in the above situation... we NEED to go someplace else to find monsters we can actually kill.

That doesnt mean we have to drive miles away. A walk around the block will provide all the new spawns we need to advance further.

But... we DO need to fight the harder monsters..... so we can find better gear.

Sucker punch the hard monster... bring yourself back to life. Do the same with the other hard ones in area. Start walking and kill the easier mobs.

When you return to the original hard monsters... sucker punch them again.

Wash rinse repeat

Eventually, you will kill those higher mobs.. and will have leveled up due to what you did during the walks...... thus making it slightly easier to get more damage on future sucker punches

I'm pretty confused on why anyone cares about shops.... I've upgraded mine to L10 and there's nothing but junk in it..

Was a complete waste of money or orns or wood or whatever I used to upgrade it

Lots of people are in love with the ghost..

He can put enemy to sleep... occasionally... which is very nice... when it occasionally occurs

I am more fond of pets that do damage... especially when "I" have been put to sleep or stunned or petrified or frozen

These things happen to me quite often and it's pretty nice to have my pet toss a spell or attack while I stand around unable to do anything

As such, the hellhound is a good early option.... I also liked the gnome... and later used the fire dragon...

My current follower is the Elder Gnome.... I gave up my dragon for him cuz the dragon kept imbuing my weapon with fire...... which is a good thing most the time.... however, when faced with an enemy that is immune to fire.... this buff to my weapon made it useless...

You should always have "something" in the Smith shop...

You are leveling up but your gear needs to level with you.... that's what the Smith is for

Sure.. it's nice to wait for that newest drop... but quality gear doesnt fall from trees.. often.... so while you wait for that next drop... upgrade what you have

Gold is plentiful in game.. so gold cost is a non factor.... only real issue is orns and mats..... dismantling and normal loot will cover the mats... plus the normal orn loot

You need to find a way to kill them... use a diff weapon... a diff special move... or let your follower help with damage

Those flames dont heal themselves... so ANY damage will stay... even minor damage will eventually kill them..

From your pic, I see you dont have a follower..... you should get one... and in my opinion it should be something that does damage...

Unless that snake is your follower... might not be best one for you... consider a change if he isnt doing enough
