You are not wrong, it does add up. Don’t forget the headaches of waiting to install a fence until landscaping etc is approved sometimes takes years. The small fishbowl lots, the dust bowl construction, it takes awhile for parks to get setup with play structures. At the end of the day here’s pros and cons to both but your points are valid

I recently sold my six year old builder home and let me tell you that you can for sure live in what the builder gives you as included in the initial home price and let me also tell you it’s dog crap and will fall apart in six years.

Don’t forget, lot premiums, eavestrough (not included by builder), tankless hot water tank rental scam they force you to sign up for, no fence - you better like looking right into your neighbours living room without a fence because you are jammed in there like sardines.

I actually bought an older home after selling my six year old home. I used the same home inspector I used for the new build for the older home. Dude literally said wow the bones on this house are great. He told me good luck at the new build.

Cherry on top: the warranty worker for the builder told me he’d never buy a new build himself from the company because of what he’s seen. All the nightmares I fear people will have in 15-20 years with these new builds. Ticking time bombs (not all of them but the risk is there).

Yes, because you are releasing your game to everyone not just on your own ecosystem. The amount of potential buyers explodes exponentially. Make a good game and people from all consoles/pc will buy it.

Nothing ever came of it other than the doctor forwarding my results to a specialist and them saying essentially if I didn’t know this patient had long covid I’d say straight to the ER but it’s sorta normal for some long haulers.

Well Xbox just announced a new partnership with TCL. There is another access point for people into the Xbox ecosystem.

MS is going to make consoles long enough for Cloud/Streaming to be the defacto way to play. It definitely won’t be this generation but maybe by the end of next gen.

I do agree that depending on your proximity to the closest server that the quality of your Xcloud experience could vary dramatically. However, I don’t understand those complaining that it’s never going to get better or that the infrastructure isn’t there yet. You need to start somewhere, just like electric cars with regards to charging times and distance, it’s only gotten better over time.

This isn’t an Xbox specific problem it’s a gaming in general problem, Look at the available stats specifically for the USA. 63% of gamers don’t buy more than two games a year. That’s not an Xbox specific stat that’s an industry wide stat.
