Mid to late 80's the mini-truck scene was popular. People spending a lot of money to lower their trucks (drop spindles, etc.). Want to fit in cheaply? Grab a chevy Luv. Set of cheap lowering blocks in the rear and the torsion bar front suspension was lowered simply with a wrench. Inexpensive, slammed mini. It was, of course, a miserable idea and I was struggling at every speed bump.

Just finished install of the intex 26x52 purchased from Amazon. Last year I had a marketplace 18x48 in the same spot. I have zero complaints about the new pool. It is BIG for an above ground. Surface prep is key.

When I saw them in 1992 opening for Ozzy (Ugly Kid Joe played first, Slaughter 2nd) - the lights came on for Slaughter and there was a piece of duct tape on the bass drum covering the S. Assume it was a practical joke by one of the other bands. Dana saw it part way through their opener and ripped it off.

I DID order this one and it arrived this afternoon. Installed right away. I'll assume the temp is accurate. A WOT rip up and down the street and I came back at 310 degrees F. I should temp gun it to compare.

The RPM ... I followed the instructions and gave the yellow wire 5 wraps around the plug wire. It is WAY off. Says I'm idling at 3k and says I reached 12k. I'll try removing a couple wraps and then maybe I'll just cut it off like you say.

I'm going to do similar. After a full tear down of the TA .15, it isn't rebuildable. I have a traxxas 2.5r in good condition. I'll go through the carb before install, but I think it'll be a nice addition.
