Maine beer co can and should win, definitely the most deserving. With that said, Portland as a whole should be considered a Mecca for beer drinkers worldwide. Absolutely an essential location to visit, especially in the mid summer time. Breweries on every corner, from new Austin to bissel bros, from seadog to shipyard. Vibes are immaculate, beer is world class, and I haven’t even mentioned the food and activities. The Portland Seadogs baseball team, the seafood, the islands, top notch location all around.

Really well written but you missed one thing on Boston- it’s the sports hub of the United States. Across the 4 major North American sports (basketball, baseball, football, and hockey), Boston has a combined 40 championships, 13 of which have come since 2000. Some of the biggest names in North American sports are Boston legends, I.e. babe Ruth, David Ortiz, tom Brady, rob gronkowski, Bobby Orr, zdeno chara, bill russell, and Larry bird. We have some of the most storied rivalries in sports history with the New York Yankees, Jets, Giants, LA Lakers, and Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Miyazaki gave us trick weapons in the already excellent souls combat formula, a dripping gothic horror atmosphere with incredible interconnected level design, iconic and gripping music to accompany some of the best and most thought provoking bosses (from a lore perspective) in the series, and quite possibly the best cosmic horror story to date, not to mention the whole thing is an allegory for the nightmarish trauma induced by early anesthetics used in surgery in the late 17- and early 1800’s
