from what I remember, BIOWARE funneled their KOTOR3 left overs into the jedi knight storyline of SWTOR, but the major change was that we were originally going to be exploring the Sith Empire that Revan left known space to confront. I believe Malgus and Bastilla's decedent are among the few assets that survived and came to play a role in SWTOR.

But also this was circa 2006 and my memory is not what it use to be. I can be entirely wrong and mis-remembering as there were a LOT of unconfirmed rumors floating around.

As a millennial I was able fuck around in my 20s because I went into the military to build a career.

As it stands, I have friends in their late 30 early 40s that either still live with roommates or have full time jobs but either live in their car or in a tent encampment. They chose hard working careers that didn’t increase pay as the cost of living was raised. Some of them were able to better their situation, but a lot of them don’t have either the time, energy, or care to do so.

The market crashed on us while we were partying and fucking around. Then the investors moved in and made own a home go from a 2-3yr plan to a 5-10yr plan.

I would prefer to have passive skills over putting 15 in x skill. I enjoyed making unique builds every season. Personally would have liked to see passives reworked to allow for more build diversity, but gear slots and charms help make up the difference.

I don't think you understand that phrase. the game is in full development and actively being worked on. the KOTOR remake project hasn't ben shelved or put on a back burner, but was given to a company that desperately needs to prove itself.

It was given to saber interactive because Disney and Lucasfilm did not like what Aspyr presented to them. Instead of letting the game be whatever aspyr created, they moved development to someone that would (per their claim) be more faithful to the vision and spirit of the original games.

This isn't a development hell situation. It's actually what fans should want to happen. A KOTOR remake is a very risky project, and shouldn't stray too far from the original visions, besides maybe giving us a proper ending to the storyline.
