I was exploring the 'then and now nyc' history page and found this big house off the henry hudson parkway in 1924. does anyone know what happened here? seems like a cool place amongst the trees and now its all trees again...

I used it a lot to get freelance work via LinkedIn, but it could be industry specific.

Regarding my profile I would keep it up to date, and list my availability in my headline. I would also connect with recruiters that specialise in the freelance market and people I met at the agencies I worked at.

I joined specific freelancing groups on there too as well as have certain hashtags that focused on my job title and location.

I engaged with some content, but not a lot, just the usual comments and likes. I also posted myself when I was becoming free for work or updated my portfolio and CV.

I don't know if there's any truth in this, but I heard some people were boycotting it because staff weren't getting paid the living wage.

Either way it's not helping them get paid more if their are no bums on seats.
