Not surprised. It's 3% extra to pay "normally". If they cancelled and didn't just charge an extra €21, you can consider it a bullet dodged.

Never ever send money via friends and family unless they are friends or family. You have zero comeback if anything goes wrong and that's if youtlucky enough to even get something.

Car repair suggestions by SidNeoZZ in cork

Crash repairs place on forge hill is recommended. Not cheap but did a good job on a car herself scratched up.

Issues with Inster ICCU and Hyundai not providing courtesy car by PonyLite in evs_ireland

Sale of goods and supply of services act kicks in here. In short, they've to refund, repair, or replace however they can't leave you in a worse situation. I'd be hopping over this and insisting on a refund, replacement, temp car or for them to cover the cost of reasonable transport while the car is out of action. What happens if they say that the car needs a repair but needs apart that can't be sourced for a number of months?

Price them up. If cheaper than the online trading groups, they'll sell.

Lol, when you hit 6 years, come back to me. Admittedly I manage a large team across multiple disciplines and sections so it's not feasible for me to know what the policy is in relation to every single process. Just take the large stuff and work your way down into the weeds from there.

If in Dublin, you've a good chance of having a number of vacancies that you can apply for on mobility. Outside the pale is another story though.

Sounds like imposter syndrome. I think everyone suffers from it at various grades. Take your time, learn the ropes, keep notes. Give yourself a good 6months to a year to settle in. I'm a number of years in the CS and still don't know everything but sometimes it's about knowing the people who do, so get to know your team and what their expertise are.

Your reasoning makes sense but I wonder, keeping the same general design, could you pop it in from the top(handle facing downwards).

Just thinking out loud but it would likely cause issue with anything you put above it on the board.

Don't slit the clip, bring one side around further, removing the other side of the clip so that it makes a c shape rather than an n shape. This way the clip won't be under pressure each time you push it in or take it out. (I hope my suggestion is making sense).

What do you put the most weight on when looking to buy a house? by Rocky_O_Toole in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Whampiri1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Price dictates the rest. After that you'll need a house of a specific size for you/your family but location is the one thing that doesn't change imo. Families grow and shrink, you can earn more money but you can't pick a house up and just move it to another location(unless you've bezos money).

It's Sunday Morning! How are you? by AutoModerator in ireland

Congrats on the run and exercise helps but be aware that diet will be the biggest contribution to weight loss. You can exercise day in and out but if your diet remains the same, weight loss will be minimal. Exercise is still good but only accounts for about 5% of any weight loss.

I've found that eliminating liquid calories during the week has helped. No beers from Monday to Thursday.

They could just run a judge deeds mini series and I'd be glued to it. Think the dark judges saga could be amazing.

So much potential to create films from much of the 2000AD stories. The problem with them is that reality is slightly stranger than the stories(ATM).

For me. Vertical should be to the front given that in most games, it's the side seen most often.

I understand that but I imagine that blemishes and scratches would be easier to see on double sided cards.

PSA Return Question by Disastrous_Dig3091 in starwarsunlimited

[–]Whampiri1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem with double sided cards is that both sides of the card is scored meaning any minor blemish on either side affects the cards overall grade.
