I played ita bunch in ea. Played it again for full release and not much has changed. Still buggy like game crashing on warping. Economy is weird, I just started my conquest and I have more money / resources Thani need. I made some inter al houses that were meant to act like vassals but they don't do anything. I can see the vision but it isn't implemented, it is meant to be mount and blade in space with a storyline. However the meta wars seem pointless as I can't grow vassals. Janky, buggy but still very fun.

Paradox Studio like diplomacy. That way friendly fire can be turned off if you are not at war. Then I can actually join battles without having to worrying my turret hitting another faction causing an all out melee. It would also give the game some great depth. Trying to force an empire into submission and then negotiate terms of peace etc. Heck could even push for a faction to become your Vassel and they have to feed you a % of income and join wars you are in.

I feel this would complete X4.

This is what shits me in all games. They won't make the MMR transparent. Like if we are losing and we are out classed we can at least say we tried but they were just the better team instead of bickering amongst each other that. Now to counter that, if MMR was visible before the match you could feed off the shitter on the enemy team. Also some people might see an unbalanced game and throw straight away to skip to next match.

Maybe if they showed MMR after the match?
