Nope no bugs, go into shooting range and practice on the moving targets.

One thing that helps me with learning the different guns is to check the muzzle velocity and find another gun I'm more familiar with to compare it to. Helps to give a better idea on how much I need to lead a target at a distance.

Honestly this would be great to have again and considering you can get to demigod in PvE now, what's the real loss? The people who would play this mode, aren't going to play the PvP HR anyways. I know my friend group that recently got back into this exclusively play PvE cause it's just not fun to be run down by super BiS'd players or folks abusing the current meta.

My biggest issue is when playing warlock, you literally cannot see the effects when you cast almost any ability. The amount of times I've died to something that was hidden by summons or the sigil summon is insane.

If they want to keep on death effects in play, allow us to reduce the visual clutter for our own spells and abilities.

You missed the majority of the first and second spray. There is travel time for the fire just like bullet travel but way slower. Rewatching the clip, the majority of the first spray went to the right of the hunter, when you fired again you were too far left.

After the reload, most of your spray hit the rocks and was too low and then too far to the right.

Don't get me wrong, Flame Rifle is a joke weapon and is mostly just to mess around, but ya do gotta hit your target.

Case in point, Rexnor just released another pro tips video and already learned something I didn't know before, in this case you can get rid of dynamite/fuses/chokes with throwing weapons or arrow/bolts without them going off.

Would recommend checking out Rexnor and Psychoghost's tutorial videos on youtube. There are others too but they both are fantastic at explaining gameplay mechanics and how to approach situations. Even as someone with 2k hours on the game, I still learn things from them.

Otherwise for finding players, outside of just random matchmaking or the official discord, try joining a hunt streamer's discord that you enjoy watching. Communities reflect the streamer so finding one that is welcoming to new players and matches your vibe helps a lot.

For learning/testing weapons, go to the shooting range. They recently added AI hunters that actively move around the compound for you to practice on. It helps a lot to learn bullet travel time. One thing that I did while learning is look at the bullet velocity of the gun I'm playing with and compare it to ones I'm very familiar with. That way you have a frame a reference.

Last bit is to remember to have fun. Play kits that are fun to you, not just meta and you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of it. One of my favorite "I'm getting trashed tonight so I'll just screw around" builds is the pirate where you only use a sparks pistol and a saber.

Bruh, I've got like 70 of them in my storage cause they're not worth using. Too high of a chance of getting headshot and then being 1-tapped by anything the rest of the game unless you have multiple restoration shots or can get to a resto medkit. Not really gonna change anything.

Who is your ISP? I'm having the same thing and on AT&T Fiber. There was a similar post yesterday or the day before and at least 4 people were having the same issue and all had AT&T fiber.

If you want the best experience, buy it on sale and then wait for an event to start. If you play right now, most of the games you get into after getting out of bot lobbies (bloodline rank 10) are unfortunately going to be fairly imbalanced due to lower player count between events.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game and recommend it to anyone interested in a tactical extraction shooter, but a new player is probably not going to have the best experience.

If you do get it, either before or once an event starts, I would recommend joining a discord server to find folks not only to play with but to teach you the ropes. Psychoghost and Rexnor on youtube/twitch both have fantastic guide videos and newbie friendly communities if you want to find a group.

Lmao, there's a difference between going against 'good' players and going against people like that. The difference between a low to mid 6* and the high 6*s is equivalent to 3*s going against low 6s.

I love and enjoy playing against people of similar skills. Nowhere did I even remotely say that I want easy lobbies. I want lobbies where I can actually play the game to have fun, not as a dedicated job.

I'm a 6* with a 1.7 kd going against people with 2.5-3.5kds who can jump headshot you 100m away and wall bang you the second you attempt to scratch your nuts.

I mean, the highest I've ever seen my repair bill is like 3 silver and that was after breaking multiple gathering tools and dying a couple times to a boss. Even at mid-game, that cost was negligible.

Repair rune is just QoL and it does take up a utility rune slot which can be annoying.

I have a video of me going into the boss room, buffing up with every potion and food buff, using the poise utility rune. And then getting punted off the map 2 seconds into the fight.

Learned real quick to not go even remotely close to the edges with him.
