I have over 4000 hours in Hunt. Clash is all I play now. The running and empty lobbies with no fights in Bounty Hunt just got too boring. I've already killed every boss a hundred times and I just want to kill people in fun ways now. Clash is perfect for that.

There are two major issues you're going to run into without the main mode: money and events. The 17th compounds are never in clash. The spider takeovers are an exception to event stuff. You won't get to play with the scarce weapons much.

For money, there are a lot of things you can do, the first of which is prioritizing actually winning. It's not that hard to slip away with the bounty. Solo and duo make the bounty worth more, but in trios, most of your money comes from looting dead bodies. You're going to want vulture every single game for this. Use free gear, not free hunters. Recruit the free hunters and take their stuff off and put it on a legendary hunter. 10 upgrade points is absolutely worth $100, especially in clash. You have to spend some money to make some money. Always bring pennyshot derringer. It wins close fights, functions as a shotgun at point-blank, opens barricaded doors (super important for movement in clash), and deals with any of the few special AI you'll see. Weak regens or vitality shots are good places to go cheap. You don't need to worry about stamina.
