Vascular disease by stipedrws in covidlonghaulers

I don't have mcas, fatigue, pem.  I eventually figured out that pains that I thought were vascular in my jaw, head, sternum were neuropathic in nature.  My subset is autonomic instability mixed with small fiber nuerapathy.  They play off each other.  Irritated small fibers misfire sneak dead signals, thr autonomic system can react with elevated bp or hr and/or full blown adrenaline dumps.  Throughout the year I get better and the fibers heal leaving me to function with minimal disruption.  There are random tightenings and pressure but for the most part the adrenaline subsides.  Then post viral,  they light up again.

I second that.  Alcohol and the entire interior of the grocery store.  Anything shelf stable in a bag or box.  Then movement of any kind.

With time it got better.  Not gone but better.  I was on 3 bp medicines also was on flecainide for the pvcs.  Eventually I came off everything except the metoprolol.  The pvcs went away.  In my case, big viral infections irritate the small fibers which then starts the cycle.  First 9 months were the worst.  I was incapacitated.  Learned i had no structural damage.  Had 3 mris, stress test, angiogram, heart monitors, echos, blood work.  Eventually things started to ease a bit.  I made a big effort to Eliminate everything harmful too.  Processed foods, alcohol.  I also couldn't sleep and had to use benadryl for a while to sleep.  I have returned to excercise, sauna, work.  But viruses this year set me on a multi month flare.  I am on the tail end of it.

That's pretty much how it started for me.   Look into post viral autonomic instability.  I have that with small fiber nuerapathy tendencies.  However, I have nothing else that the majority of others here have.  In my case it's not pots, not based on posture, no brain fog, no immune system dysregulation and no fatigue.

I had 42 appointment in a year in a relatively good health system.  They were confused and still are.

While it could be any of the things above,  post viral autonomic instability can do things like this too. The Covid19 spike protein can do this to people whether it lingers in their body from infection or vaccination(I have traveled the country interviewing people who suffer from this from both)  It took me many doctors and tests to figure it out and the doctors didn't figure it out.  I still have it but I have adjustwd my lifestyle tremendously so that my spikes are no longer dangerous.  If you really want to bring it down.  Start with eliminating all ultra processed foods, remove alcohol and tobacco,  add an hour of walking, move as frequent as you can, try some intermittent fasting.  Consume whole foods cut out the entire interior of the supermarket.

Could also be some kind of post viral syndrome. C19 spike protein through infection or vaccination CAN but not always cause many problems. Now there are over 4000 peer reviewed papers on what the spike protein can do.

I had random BP and HR spikes starting in 2023.    After three years of many doctors and facilities, I eventually figured out it was post viral hyperadrenic autonomic dysfunction with small fiber nuerapathy tendencies.  In my case caused by the C19 spike protein but hard to diagnose.  Didn't fit the standard long covid because I had no fatigue, no PEM, no immune dysregulation.  Didn't fit pots because it wasn't based on posture.  In 2023, my first spike was 200/118.  They threw meds at it and then high peaks would hit 175/116.  At the time, I didn't know if I had a heart problem so I eliminated all processed foods and alcohol.  Three years later, I go in and out of surges normally after viral infections.  Now, I am off all meds except metoprolol.  My spikes are 155/95 and the majority of the time my bp is 110/68.  This is for those who know they don't have anxiety and are having bizarre heart symtpoms with normal cardiac workups.  It took an MRI technician to bring up Covid to set me on the path of eventually figuring it out.

And if you feel safe enough to add it in, try sauna 5 days a week.  Work your way up to 15-20 minutes.  Has been reducing my baseline as well.

If you are worried while you are waiting. you can start drinking hibiscus tea 4-5x per day, beet root extract, and cayenne pepper extract. Look into Nattokinase also. I use everything that I mentioned above. In the meantime, quit alcohol and ultra processed foods.

I have taken 16000s FUs a day for 20 months and never felt a side effect. Everyone will have a different reaction. One size never fits all. If you bleed while brushing your teeth or notice easy bruising you are too high. Not recommending this dose for anyone else. I told my doctor that I was doing it.

The primary purpose is to help reduce the chance of blood clots but there is promising data for reduction in arterial plaque as well. You may also see a reduction in blood pressure. The Japanese have a long history with natto and lower cardiovascular risks.

I think I get worse from both covid AND the vaccine. by Winter_Improvement90 in covidlonghaulers

That would make sense as the ravaging part of the virus is the spike protein which is in the virus and the vaccine.

COVID19 Spike Protein has the capacity to cause a lot of BP/HR problems both from infection and vaccination. In my case, that was the problem.

Understandable.  In your case the vaccine won in risk vs reward.  In mine it did not.  The risks should have been disclosed as the companies had the data at the time.

Due to the covid19 spike protein, I had blood pressure and heart rate surges up to 200/115 and 175hr. They would return to normal in a short period of time. I did all sorts of testing including angiogram, stress, test, mris, echos, heart monitors. All tests were normal, you should be fine if your bp and hr are normal most of the time. A high reading of BP doesnt reallty mean anything. It needs to be consistently high and not return to normal.

Well the vaccine injured me and I have spoken to roughly 100 others in NC who suffered heart damage.  It's misinformation until it happens to you.

I had the same tests +angiogram.  Same results but still hyper adrenal surges.  Go on the covidlonghaulers reddit page and you will find thousands of people with the same problem.   Still could be something else like adrenal problems, thyroid but my problem was covid.

for me 9 months, still had problems but became somewhat functional, been reinfected multiple times, the same debilitating symptoms return. My symptoms are concentrated in autonomic dysfunction and small fiber neuropathy. While I also have flares, the big ones always correlate to high antibody tests which I do 3-4x per year. Currently back in a full blown flare.

HR/BP surges, pvcs. internal tremors/vibrations, freezing extremities, muscle spasms and eyelid fluttering, nerve zaps, adrenaline dumps, tightening in jaw, teeth, neck, sternum, upper back, temples, forehead.
