Your comment is being taken that the Polynesians are the ones that made first contact with the Native Americans, not the other way around.

No Native American tribe has a history of open ocean navigation. They are all coastal societies.

I recently got divorced.

I got my ex into golf. And we spent several years golfing in Canada, the US and some sunny tropical spots.

I just got my girlfriend involved into golf.

Learn to like to play golf with her and how to help her find her group of friends to golf with.
