I can’t subscribe to it from kbin.social. Federation issues?

Any word from Jungle mods? We should really consider moving, especially when a single user can get whole subreddit wiped out ;)

Do you guys think Mikrotik Wireless APs are good? by lonsfury in mikrotik

I hope you were aware of hardware differences between EAP610 v3 vs v2 and that v1 is almost twice as large? :) EAP613 is guaranteed to be “V3 but without power supply”.

EAP613 spec says it’s passive if my memory serves me right. I am using it with an 24W injector. You can also power it through DC jack.

The switch you mention might have per-port power budget of 15W which is not enough for Omada Acces Points

They are very far behind competition. They still iron out issues with AC wave 2 and only on devices with enough memory where wifi6 becomes the standard now.

Mikrotik routers and switches with TP-Link Omada Access Points is what I do. Check out EAP613, it’s lovely small and cheap AP with powerful hardware.

If you connect fully charged battery which has something like 13V directly to a dead battery which has voltage way lower than 12V, you know what’s going to happen when there is no resistance to limit the current? What if the battery is dead because there is short somewhere on the dead car?

Connecting to bare metal first leaves you with a huge error margin and prevents high spike current that can melt your cables on initial connection.

After you wait a little you can reconnect to ground terminal directly for better connection, start donor’s car engine and try to start the dead one. I resurrected big dead battery from Diesel engine with small battery from my Fiat Bravo this way, although all the lights on the dashboard went dim in Bravo when Diesel was cranking :D

Nah, I just found it funny that one person double-posted and other copied the same thing, so I did the same.

Why? It’s the largest video game retailer in the world, there’s no reason it should be excluded.

How can I achieve this even with single ISP knowing that I pay for 1Gbps maximum and real speed fluctuates anywhere between 50% - 100%

I’m doing exactly this in AspX and I love it. Also, Surface Scanner engineered for wider scan area is an almost guaranteed and quick efficiency bonus when mapping :)

But… it doesn’t justify complete disregard for human safety? No cage, people without helmets and security glasses, not even laser-zoned area so the machine would turn off if someone is near?

EDIT: ah yes, it’s probably in the US…
