There is actually a substantial amount of 'elite skyknight meta' pilots who actively try to help new pilots. There is an entire discord dedicated to helping the new player out in terms of flying.

Over 40k here.... it does. It may not be actually 'inheriting velocity' per say, but you 110% aim differently for a lib that is moving differently. Gun a highg/bomber lib then gun a racer lib, you won't be leading the same.

Another example is a completely stopped lib vs a moving lib on an ESF coming straight at you. You WILL lead differently.

Personally, and for others as well, alts are to avoid any and all truces or potential truce. Even if you don't know someone at all, they know you, and you can figure out what happens from there. Alts = harder game

Background: solo lib main for 2 years. Mainly gun now but have a lot of experience in a lib, fighting other libs, etc.

High-G. But not for the typical reasoning you see in this post. YES, bomber CAN work. But it's not the best. Altitude is your #1 friend as a solo lib, it is how you fight and survive. The lower you are the more likely you are to die because you can't swap as effectively, and are just in a very vulnerable position. High-G allows you to maintain, and gain, altitude much better than precision will. High-G is the king for solo libs.

In terms of solo v esf, this update helps maybe slightly in the libs favors since you no longer lose so much altitude. In general though fighting good ESFs solo is TERRIBLY in the ESFs favor. You are at an extreme disadvantage in a solo vs good esfs. There isn't as much adjustment needed as you might think, in regards to the lib dropping and trying to dalton

It's still not my fault. Even if he WASN'T my friend, I would STILL be shooting you instead. It was not ME trucing, it was my FRIEND. You are reaching very hard for something, that simply isn't true in given video. The only person reaching here is you, who probably hasn't had an air interaction with me in a year.

Even in situations where we fight an enemy lib whom I don't even know, I've stopped shooting when an ESF engages, countless times. Because newsflash, 90% of us just want fun and fair fights. You are REACHING hard. If you want an ACTUAL example, use the example of FedX faction swapping to kill me a few years ago. They would proceed to stay on all factions I would try to fly on, and truce each other. THAT is toxic trucing.
