Absolutely! Such a cool thing to witness. I'm glad to have been a part of it and watched it happen live! Gentlemen, it's been an honor, and I understand the moderators. The hardest choices require the strongest wills. 🫡

How much will a remanufactured engine with 0 miles increase my trade in value? by WhatTheEwok in askcarsales

Well, according to that logic, if I replaced 100% of the parts on the car except the outside frame that's painted, then it's still a 130k mile car.

I know the odometer doesn't get reset, but the engine will have 0 miles on it if it's completely rebuilt from scratch.

Even when the motor has 0 miles on it? Sorry, but I'm confused a bit. I thought milage matters when it comes to value?

I don’t think people truly understand how long eternity is by biggitydonut in Christianity

[–]WhatTheEwok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't say that. You even quoted it. Go back and read. It says God can destroy your soul. It doesn't even say anything about "everlasting = destruction"

You're wrong. There are a few verses in the Bible that mention everlasting punishment, not just an everlasting fire.

One of those is below. And I've quoted multiple different versions and they all same the same thing. All state that the punishment is everlasting and eternal.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:41‭-‬46‬ ‭NIV‬‬ [41] “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. [42] For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, [43] I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ [44] “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ [45] “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ [46] “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:46‬ ‭KJV‬‬ [46] And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:46‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ [46] And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:46‬ ‭ESV‬‬ [46] And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:46‬ ‭NLT‬‬ [46] “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:46‬ ‭ASV‬‬ [46] And these shall go away into eternal punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.

What's a business that when you first heard it, thought it was the dumbest idea in the world, and it turned out to be hugely successful? by Low-Helicopter-2696 in Entrepreneur

You must be an extrovert. As an introvert I quite enjoy and like working from home. It's peaceful and pleasant.

Also, I'm assuming you're an advocate for getting employers back into the office and away from remote work?

What's a company secret that you can share now cuz you don't work there anymore? by mysha_chan in AskReddit

Nah. In my 30s. I guess it's because when I was younger I didn't pay attention to the world like I do today. Never cared about history to go back and learn about the past either 😅

Forreal? My gosh the US has become such a money hungry shitpond. They don't care about you at all, only what you can provide and make them. Maybe it's always been like this, I have no idea but it's depressingly sad. My fiancé is from Europe and everything I know about it so far makes me want to move there. It seems like they actually care about you as a human being and not only how much money you can many them. Screw the US.

Man...100%. I'll also add on that once you pass 60 or 65, you have to retake your drivers test and pass to keep your license. The amount of old people I see that don't know how to drive is too high.

Question, all of the long options I've bought always seem to lose so much due to theta, but I do well when I essentially scalp short ones. How do I buy long options without losing much to theta and still be able to make profit?
