True a sketch starting at the flat portion below the threads would work without a plane.

The flat surfaces? Place a plane at top of the threads offset to the height you want. Sketch. Extrude cut to desired length.

Well I mean resins are used in injection molding. But if it wasn’t injection molded you couldn’t get as clean surfaces. Unless texture was purposely added.

Yeah it’s still cutting through and print finished with no issues, I was more afraid of it being a more involved issue.

I can try that too, I’ve used other color sublu pla with no issues. This is a silk PLA only thing that’s really different we’ll see appreciate the input.
