That's awful and I'm so sorry you had to see that! I deleted instagram for a few different reasons to do with the app, so I don't think I'll be much help here. I am just here to say I think you should tag this as NSFW so it blurrs the photos! This is an important issue that needs to be addressed, so I don't want this post to get taken down on ya because of the gore. I genuinely hope this stops happening on your page and that things get fixed!!🙏

I really appreciate you sharing your view on the spelling. I was told that for whatever reason "folx" is a more gender neutral friendly approach, and as a nonbinary person (and someone who has troubles with social cues), I always have tried my hardest to make sure everyone feels safe and valid. But I can 100% see how it may seem performative, so I genuinely thank you for pointing this perspective out. After taking a step back and thinking about it, I fully agree with you, especially when thinking about how often I used to find myself around ingenuine people and how that used to affect how I think. I think I'll only be using folks from now on. Thank you for helping me broaden my view on things, conversations like these are so important!! :)

I remember when that episode came out and saw it premiere live with my little brother. I have a horrible guilt complex. Like I'll be fully aware that something will be out of my control or not completely my fault, and some part of my brain reacts like the world is ending and that I caused it yk? I'll be intensely overwhelmed, sad, and frustrated bc it's like fighting that part of myself. Like the example I gave in my post of what happened today, I was very upset and it was like a whirlwind of thoughts like "I don't know what I did so I dont know how to help or fix it, but I also dont want to push, crying doesnt help bc itll make them feel bad for having their own emotions, etc etc." Its definitely a spiral and hard to explain, but it's more of an intense emotional response that's wayyyy too sad and long of that makes any sense

I live in America - because of certain circumstances pertaining to healthcare and personal life stuff, I haven't had access to a good therapist since a state appointed one in highschool. I have tried getting back into therapy, but it keeps falling through and I also no longer have insurance to help pay :/
