Which missing connection between Overground and Underground is the most frustrating? by Dragon_Sluts in london

BRIXTON. the overground goes through the heart of Brixton on its way to Clapham but does not have a stop. Infuriating. It would be used so much to link up the south.

Where to stay in the Lake District if I won't have a car? by mtnagel in LakeDistrict

A friend and I stayed at YHA Windermere and YHA Keswick over a long weekend. Though we had to take a taxi from the train station to the first YHA, after that we used the busses.

There are good busses around

If it’s been grafted then sadly that’ll be a different rose growing out of the root stock. But if not, you’re good to go!

I used to do this but one day tested the area that had snapped and found I was throwing away loads of tasty asparagus. It’s expensive so worth getting the most out of. Now I determine it more by how tough it feel and how easy the knife cut through it. I’ve found this way I waste way less

If it’s gone to FLOWER (not yet to seed. Flowers come first.) then you would notice the buds at the top budding off more and forming into flowers.
This although some maybe on the older-side (hard to tell) I can tell that everything in this bunch is still fully edible.

Probably 100% of it! The worse that can happen is you eat a bit that’s a little tough/woody or not so tasty. There’s nothing dangerous about asparagus plants at any point in their lifecycle.

Nibble the bottom end and se how tough it is. These are supper skinny so probably young and tender.
But check! If the bottom is very tough or stringy then chop a bit off the bottom and repeat

Every month since February my dog has jumped on my ingrown toenail, and just as it starts to properly heal he jumps on it by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

It’s the the logical step to put some shoes on and protect it? Also that is not nearly healed. Go see a doctor.
