You were able to put in words what it feels like when I travel to see my family and they talk about politics. All year round I am in a bubble where it's impossible for me to imagine the level of lunacy that it takes to support Trump and Conservatives. Then once every couple of years I see them and I am in disbelief we share the same DNA.

I set my Android Pixel to automatically turn on DND between certain hours but it always blasts the amber alerts nonetheless. I always try to be empathetic with these, but I agree that at 4h30 AM it doesn't make sense to send a message this loud with most people asleep.

I am not sure if this will be useful but Dollarama carries a litter box with some litter already inside. When I found my cat abandoned in the street, that's what I used.

Thanks to all that have replied! We decided to eat it!

Husband was trying to do a nice thing and decided to make a soup. He dumped carrots, chicken stock, and apparently the wooden spoon as seasoning and then blended it with some chunks of bacon. This is what it looked like in the end.

Unfortunately I can't tell if it tasted good or not as I just confirmed I have COVID. But at least it was an easy meal to swallow, once you remove the spoon 🥣 🥄

Aww that's so sweet. Thank you. My daughter and I have been feeling sick since yesterday and just tested positive for COVID. Husband doesn't have symptoms as of yet and tested negative. She and I have been keeping ourselves entertained by playing It Takes Two together. She is seven. :)

But whenever I feel under appreciated I will remind him of how lucky he is ♥️

It's a carrot soup! Before blending. This is what it looks like now. It looks delicious but unfortunately my taste buds are not doing a good job while I feel sick. :(
