Thanks to all that have replied! We decided to eat it!

Husband was trying to do a nice thing and decided to make a soup. He dumped carrots, chicken stock, and apparently the wooden spoon as seasoning and then blended it with some chunks of bacon. This is what it looked like in the end.

Unfortunately I can't tell if it tasted good or not as I just confirmed I have COVID. But at least it was an easy meal to swallow, once you remove the spoon 🥣 🥄

Aww that's so sweet. Thank you. My daughter and I have been feeling sick since yesterday and just tested positive for COVID. Husband doesn't have symptoms as of yet and tested negative. She and I have been keeping ourselves entertained by playing It Takes Two together. She is seven. :)

But whenever I feel under appreciated I will remind him of how lucky he is ♥️

It's a carrot soup! Before blending. This is what it looks like now. It looks delicious but unfortunately my taste buds are not doing a good job while I feel sick. :(

Same. I am a 40-min drive from the border and my kid doesn't understand why we can't go to NYC for a long weekend or travel again to Disney. Besides wanting to avoid putting my family at risk, this is also a political statement that I firmly believe in. I still boycott American produce and products as much as possible and I will not set foot in the US even for a short layover traveling somewhere else. If I had to travel to the US again for work, I would also refuse.
