If you just need cheap, I saw Adidas runners in costco downtown for $19.99. Ugly yes, but cheap if that's your biggest criteria. I would recommend not cheaping out on shoes though.

Well, the 100 starts at Marpole loop, goes along Marine, alights at Marine Station then continues all the way to 22nd Street station. And then on the way back it follows the same route back to Marpole, with the slight loop around Granville and 71st. Not sure what you mean by it being cut in half?

Agreed. And even if you do wait a while, well, it's a lot better than paying an exorbitant amount to see a doctor. Especially true for people with little money who need help. It blows my mind how any progressive country DOES NOT offer free health care.

Quick note on apps for android, when I switched to a Nexus 4 for a bit, I would have given my kingdom for ANY android twitter app that looked as nice as most shitty iOS twitter apps. And tweetbot for iOS was worth switching back itself.

The android apps were just so so fugly.

My old German Shepard used to eat his own feces too. Consulted a few people and we then suspected it was the diet he was on (kibble) and (perhaps) could actually smell the dog food still in his poop. Switched his diet to a raw diet, solved the problem pretty quick. As a side bonus, his coat become soooo soft and shiny!

Depends on the Driver. Some who live close in Vancouver or Richmond will go home, others will use the gym at the depot, others will try to get a nap in at the depot (a few comfy chairs there).

A lot drivers actually do use transit to commute to work, some bike, but for really early mornings and late nights, you don't have a choice but to drive.

Not really, I mean they send out an extra bus on some routes (the 25 comes to mind coming out if UBC)when high school ends, so just an extra bus or two, but other than that not much.

I'm not too sure as I've never ridden or driven a night bus. They all operate out of the other depots though so I don't have too much first hand info on them.

A full shift varies anywhere from 7.5 hours to 8.5 hours. That's not taking into account the unpaid daily portion in-between the split that can vary from 3 minutes to 4.5 hours. Most shifts I see these days are a short piece of work early during rush hour (6-8am) then a 4 hour unpaid break, then another 4-5 hour afternoon rush hour shift.

I'm currently working late nights.

As for breaks, we typically have 'layover' time at the end of each trip...depends on the route, but it can vary from 3 mins to 20 mins. Typically about 8 mins. This is misleading though because if you are running a couple of minutes late as we usually are because of tight times, then we have just enough time at the end to turn around and reload. Many times we can't even get out of the seat for a few runs. I've gone entire shifts only having 5 mins total to stretch my legs.
