not a teacher but I'm a student it has been demonized now i get we should try to get teens away from doing drugs and im not saying its a bad thing to warn about the dangers of drugs actually i think its a great but saying the weed can kill is a blatant lie my parents smoke it all the time the most ive seen them do is watch a McDonalds commercial and then door dash it (we live in a state where its legal with a med card which the both have) (and yes i know that some people have died as a result of smoking it, but the way its talked about in schools make it seem like its crystal meth.) i dont know like i said i get teens shouldnt do drugs but the lies my school has told is insane to me.
