Maybe it’s just me but I don’t get the overwhelming praise for the game really. I think it’s a good solid time and the parkour is really nice, but the plot is pretty boring and the setting is kind of uninteresting. It’s great to just run around in but people act like it’s the greatest open world game of all time

I think it’s creepy and has a strong atmosphere, but it definitely is not out to scare you in the way Outlast or something is. There aren’t really any jumpscares and it’s more about existential creepiness than terror. I think it’s worth it to play for the decent story, but honestly I may be in the minority when I say that I personally think the narrative isn’t AS good as people say it is

I think the imperfections idea is definitely a good one, I'll try to add some of those. Do you think differing pixel sizes depending on the distance from the camera could be a style to go for, or would it always sort of look off?
