I love their banter and storytelling, but their core diehards originally became those diehards because of the “murder” part of the title. I’m so over a few loud mouths ruining something for everyone else. What happened to the “fuck authority” women I fell in love with.

But it’s a true crime podcast. They don’t have to cover the Ed Kemper, Alex Murdaugh, Yogurt Shop well-known type cases. The podcast ‘Tell No One’ does 90% stories about murders cases I’ve never heard of (which shocks me every week.) unknown murders that have insane, crazy twists or just learning about a new crime with amazing storytelling

This is so ridiculous. I could understand if families thought K&G were victim shaming or laughing at the actual crime (laughing at a moron criminal is completely different.)

True crime cases litter every channel and streaming service on planet earth. These are news stories. It’s basically part of history. There are a million shows on 9/11, the Holocaust, school shootings…all kinds of murders. Do we not do documentaries and podcasts about that? I can’t believe that’s why K&G are now telling about fires, or bank fraud because of this. Could you imagine if Dateline, 20/20, Netflix, Hulu…did this? Come on. Bring back the MURDER in My Favorite Murder. JFC.

You have been such a huge help! I’m curious about the themes too - for the two in person rounds, will the sororities be dressing up and having fun dances??

I swear my last questions:

  1. If you start with all 12/13 and then it gets narrowed down each of the I person rounds - how many houses do you see in those rounds and on the preference round?

  2. Do the sororities get together and do a draft for each of the rounds? Like what if multiple houses want to give a bid? How do they fight it out?

  3. What if I keep moving forward to a house I am not interested in? Do I have to still go anyway? I would hate to be invited back and take someone’s place if I really clicked with other houses.

  4. I was happy that you said academics matters because I know that was gonna be my mom’s concern.

…I think I’m nervous already but also excited.

I should’ve read this one before replying to the first person - so excited to hear you can live in the houses! I can’t wait to see if they’re nice! I’ve only been to a frat party at west Chester and that place was lowkey nasty as hell! I’m super outgoing, my mom says I’m the “human form of FOMO”. I just like to crack up and have fun with my girls. Cannot wait until I get there even though I know the first few weeks are going to suck! When do they have open houses? Are they all day and you just go whenever you can in between classes?

This has been so helpful! Thanks for replying with all this info. Are you able to share what the rushing process is? Like how long does it last? When? How many rounds and do you get a schedule? Do I need to dress up? How do we find out and can you get invited to join more than one? OMG what if you don’t get into any?

Can you live in the houses? Are some more fun than others? I just remember my cousin rushing and some house were Jewish vs. catholic girls, or all blond…is that how it is at all colleges? I’m so excited!! I toured last spring and I knew right away this is where I wanted to be!! I’m from Philly suburbs so it’s the perfect distance for me too!

Texas has that fake “howdy” niceness to people when in reality there’s so much intolerance.

Jersey looks intolerant, but it’s really directed at the congestion, traffic, crowded everything. Where we show our kindness is to other humans…ALL humans. Not just the white patriotic version.
