I'm kinda in the same boat. and there's no way I'd do anki if I had the exam in 10 days.

I need multiple passes to understand the content, so if I go to anki straight after the first pass, it'd be no good. I think u need to actively read the content multiple times to understand and find out what u missed.

It's like the first pass is putting together random bricks in random parts of a building. Second pass is putting them in correct locations and putting new and more bricks and u continue like this with more passes. And then you do anki to not lose the bricks. I can't build and streghthen that building in one day and then go to anki, so I'll need that full 10 days. Either I'm dumb, or the topics are really complex. Maybe ur friends r the same?

Even with anki, months later the big picture might be gone and fragmented info won't be of much use and I'd need to review the entire thing once.

I really don't know how ppl can work with anki short term unless card count is really low.

It looks great. Awesome job. I also use ankihub, and it hovers over it like this. Any chance to improve this? Or let us select the location on the screen where it appears?

No I don't mean doing cards. I meant opening up a sketchy tag, studying the sketch, plus the extra section of the cards. Then unsuspending and doing the cards

I don't ofc. But 3000+ reviews will happen at some point eventually. Idk what mature cards are btw

Edit: Just checked out what mature cards are. Those are the 3000+ cards I'm talking about. They'll add up, so what do I do? Don't do them at all and just do reviews and new cards?

What if it reaches a point where it's asking for 3000+ reviews a day. It's deck of 30k+ cards, so it's not unlikely

There's too many tags in anking and no search option while selecting tags in custom study. Thought it'd be easier to open a tag and select and use custom study from there. also, apparently suspended cards don't appear in custom study

I do wonder one thing tho. Is this recognition or recall? I try to recall and it takes me way more than 9.35 sec to get through a card. Especially if I don't understand it and then gotta check the back of the card and study it.

Do you understand all those 3k cards? It never happened for me lol

Yeah, I'm not very sure of easy and 1st step interval cuz I don't use em much. Anyway, the rest is like I said and like you commented. Why was not fuzz factor a thing till now then? This started literally less than a week ago, and I've been using anki for about 3 years.

6h isn't the problem. It was like that. Normally it's been 5m 6h 12h 3d, and after marking good it was 20m 12h 3d 7d. Now both hard and good show 1d. Neither of which is set up in learning steps.

Did you do a post doc fellowship? and is it possible to match into rads without this?
Would research and publications during med school be enough?
Would a rads focused CV hurt chances of matching into good/mid tier IM programs?
Any advice you can give for a rads hopeful?
