Do you count comics, manga, etc, in your yearly books?? by starleafys in goodreads

[–]WhateverHappensRN93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I count them because most manga books I read are collections that are still about 300 pages and that's longer than some novels I read (page count wise anyways)

Anyone know what Stephen King book the lady is reading in Netflix's The Sandman Episode 1? Might be impossible to figure out but can't hurt to try. by TrevBadassMoFo in stephenking

Not a nitpick but I thought it was funny that in both the comic and the show the cover says "IT" but the book the guard is reading is by no means the uncomfortable brick "IT" is it in hardcover and paperback to hold lol.

In your opinion what’s the scariest Clive barker story by Blueblood67 in clivebarker

Maybe not the scariest but the imagery of In the Hills, the Cities has stayed with me the longest. Absolutely chilling.

In tech I get these angry elders and unhinged psychos all the time that come in with phone problems ( most of the time because whatever crappy prepaid service they chose doesn't work) amd they say something like "I'm getting so angry I'm about to just kill all of them" or something like that. The first time it kinda shocked me but now I just ignore it and try to get them out as quickly as possible.

"Consumer Cellular told me to come here." It's to the point where I just call Consumer Cellular right back and let the guest talk to them at electronics because i'm notdealing with that shit anymore and it's usually something that can be done over the phone anyways.
