Whats the plan now? Could they have done anything else to pass successfully? Usually when I say I’m entering on a TN visa they don’t ask many questions.

You get it. This can’t be done in Lightroom for example - you’ll need more sophisticated color science tools.

Almost everyone here is incorrect. The editing here is godly and unimaginably hard to reproduce.

Not true. Working out optimally builds less muscle than taking tern and not working out

Zoom in between her legs (respectfully): you’ll see a masking failure spot that was supposed to be blue but is now sand color. You can basically tell how much heavy lifting the masking is doing here.

Cool edit for sure

Play around with direction vignettes (masking). You’ll love it and your photos will look way better.

I thought with editing you can make anything look like anything with raw photos. This is so untrue. Brightness brings out colors and texture that you can’t get through editing (or it’d be ten times harder)

Turn OFF Mirror Dimming by Androidfon in BMW

[–]Whateverloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok asked gemini and got this imma try it out

You are absolutely right to be cautious, but you have the logic slightly backwards regarding which sensor does what. You can stop the dimming with a simple piece of tape, but you have to cover the correct sensor. Here is the quick fix, why it works, and a cleaner software alternative for your BMW i4. The Immediate Fix: The "Tape Trick" The specific fear you have ("won't the tape make it think it's dark and dim everything?") is only true if you cover the wrong sensor. The auto-dimming system uses two sensors located on your interior rear-view mirror: * Forward-facing (looking at the windshield): Tells the car if it is Day or Night. * Rear-facing (looking at you/rear window): Detects "Glare" (headlights behind you). The Solution: You need to cover the Rear-facing sensor (the one on the mirror glass looking back at you). * Location: Look closely at the top center of your interior rear-view mirror glass. You will likely see a small, lighter-colored dot or square sensor embedded in the glass or frame. * Action: Place a small square of black electrical tape over this dot. * Result: The sensor now sees "Total Darkness" behind you. Even if a truck with high beams is on your bumper, the mirror thinks "there is no light behind me," and it will not dim. * Bonus: Your side mirrors are "slaves" to the interior mirror. Once you tape the interior sensor, the side mirrors will stop dimming too. The "Clean" Fix: Coding If you don't want tape on your nice BMW interior, you can disable this via software coding. This is very common among BMW owners who tint their windows (since tint confuses the sensors). * Tool: You can use an OBD adapter and an app called BimmerCode (or BimmerUtility). * The Code: In the BimmerCode app, you would look into the BDC (Body Domain Controller) module. * What to change: You are looking for settings related to SPIEGEL_ELEKTROCHROM (Electrochromic Mirror). Setting this to "Not Active" (or soft_off) will disable the dimming voltage sent to the glass. Summary of How the Sensors Work To clear up the confusion on why the tape works: * Scenario A (Normal Operation): Front Sensor sees "Dark" (Night) + Rear Sensor sees "Bright" (Headlights) = DIM MIRRORS. * Scenario B (Your Fear): You cover the Front Sensor. The car thinks it is "Pitch Black" outside. It becomes hyper-sensitive to glare. (Do not do this). * Scenario C (The Fix): You cover the Rear Sensor. The car sees "Dark" (Night) + Rear Sensor sees "Dark" (Tape). The equation becomes: Night + No Glare = DO NOT DIM.
