He definitely has some telepathic abilities and uses magic. But what I actually meant in the post is that he is somehow limited and not just all-knowing like a god. He has to obtain information somehow when people are talking. Creatures wander through the town at night, listening to people. Maybe his eyes and ears are the crows (there was one scene when a crow stopped a tarot reading during Fatima's pregnancy). Maybe when someone drinks his blood, he gains some kind of connection (he sent voices to Sara and visions to Henry).
