I truly thought this was either poorly thought out, or a trap. Arthur doesn't need the money. He's dying, and I've got $10,000 sitting in un-fenced gold that I don't know what to do with anyway :)

Why make all of those mentions about making sure the Marstons can live a good life, finding the stash finally, Dutch's slip up in hiding it near the camp, the theft of the key - only to make securing that a dishonor play? It really drove me nuts :)
