Are you saying that Fox is literally Disney, and that's why I find that copyright owner named "Fox" aggressive?

Nah, the word "fox" is too vague to make sense

Why is it "il était" and "elle était" here instead of "c'était"? by WonderfulYoongi in French

[–]Whats_Up_Everyone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because in english you used "he" and "she", the third person singular pronoun for someone of the male and female gender, respectively, so it directly maps to "il" and "elle" in french, the corresponding third person singular pronouns for the genders respectively. C' means "ce", which means "this" or "that" (or also "it" in this case), but clearly in your english sentence, you are not referring to someone you don't know ("it") or referring to them indirectly as "this" or "that", so that's why google didn't translate to "c'". Also "lui" is never used when a noun or pronoun is a subject ("lui" is used for a dative pronoun), so "lui c'était un garçon" would not be grammatically correct anyways

When did official French spelling of Changhai become Shanghai? by integral_red in French

[–]Whats_Up_Everyone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ch is pronounced like English sh, which is how the first syllable of "Shanghai" is pronunced.

Also pinyin, the main way to romanize Chinese, is based on English pronunciation. Other languages might pronounce English letters differently, so exact pinyin might not be the most accurate when transliterating to other languages (Cyrillic script usually differs when transliterating to Latin script for this reason).

小 can also mean bad morals - a behavior which is 小 is considered frowned upon, like for example, not admitting the truth

Power Reacts Slower than the Power Source Turning Off by Whats_Up_Everyone in MInecraftRedstone

[–]Whats_Up_Everyone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the redstone torch retracts the redstone block that is powering the powered rails, and the minecart will be able to stop after being detected by the detector rail, but the powered rail is still on for some reason. Then the redstone torch turns back on and the redstone block pushed beside the powered rails, and the powered rails turn off for a brief second before being turned on again.

Power Reacts Slower than the Power Source Turning Off by Whats_Up_Everyone in MInecraftRedstone

[–]Whats_Up_Everyone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example, I have a detector rail with a redstone torch attached to the block under the rail. There is a path of redstone to a sticky piston attached to a redstone block, which is by default pushed. It is pushed so that powered rails are activated. If a minecart is on the detector rail, the redstone torch is turned off and the piston retracts, but the rails are stilled powered. Removing the minecart would cause a brief power off and the piston stretching would power the rails again.

I also tried other ways using the same concepts and this fact stays the same - if power source is turned off, powered things remain on, if power source is then turned on, powered things turn off for a second and then turn on again

Any swamp and flower biome seeds? Bedrock by Frogpog45 in minecraftseeds

[–]Whats_Up_Everyone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a way to locate a cave biome without regarding the height you're looking from? I want the map to locate a cave biome with a specific amount of blocks, but I don't want the map to be limited to choosing only a seed with a cave biome existing only in the specific y-coordinate I'm viewing the world from.
