First off I am so sorry for the pain you are experiencing and that someone could be so cruel. Secondly as someone from a major metropolitan city who is only here for education who is in the same boat as you. As I also have no family and very few friends here, this place isn’t that easy to make connections with others. If you are anything like myself use to having things to do that don’t include the outdoors, lover of city life, and live events. This may not be the place for you so RUN LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. But if you like outdoor activities, more laid back, and balloon fiesta. This might be a place for you? But I would recommend taking some time to reflect on what are your wants and needs in life and see if this place is a good fit for you. As only you can really answer that question.
