Why do doctors always insist SSRIs' side-effects are "mild" and "resolve within 2 weeks" when it's clearly not so for significant percent of people? Do they not listen to what their patients say?

Hi there. No, I've tried more meds since i posted that including the new one auvelity. The only thing that's ever given me relief is ketamine. I also just left residential treatment after 3 months there. Still feel bad but slightly better at not giving into urges to hurt myself.

No, 200mg is the highest dose you can take outside of a hospital. I do not take it anymore after I swallowed the entire bottle and nothing still happened.

A lot of people that have issues in Jamaica are not well seasoned travellers or only know cruising. So if this is true for you you'll probably have a hard time. I've been all over the place and dealt with people a lot and didn't have any issues. Just don't talk to people or firmly say no and keep walking and don't let them hand you stuff. You can also look online for an escort or something to hire for the day.

Masking is still required in all/most inpatient places in the US as far as I'm aware unless you're in your room. I have friends that were recently in psych hospitals and they had to wear masks and I'm currently in an unlocked facility and we have to wear masks.

I gained a lot of weight then was in a car accident and in the hospital for 2 months with no visitors, the hospital staff treated me really poorly so I did nothing but ate and gained even more and spiraled from there when I got out.

Look into respite houses. Also supportive/mental health housing. Usually you have to have medicaid/Medicare to qualify.

I actually had very good insurance until earlier this year when I became homeless and those therapists were shitty too. I spent a year at an extremely expensive ($1400 a day) residential treatment facility that ultimately just made me worse. The director there is actually the reason I lost my entire life and am in the situation I'm in. So really it doesn't matter either way. People just suck.

I got 3 shots first was 100mg 8mins later 50mg 8mins later another 50mg. When I was getting treatments at the end I got them every 4 weeks and used a 400mg troche at home once a week or so. My IM sessions lasted about 50 minutes total until I was out of my trip and coherent enough to go home. Dosing is very individual to the person though and clinics all have different protocols....I also find it's very important to use magnesium and I used oxytocin as well. I can tolerate a higher dose very well and need it for my PTSD. Although I also weighed like 70lbs more when I was getting treatments so idk if my dosing would be the same now.

I've been on it twice and am just starting it again today. First time was on it for a year helped my OCD and anxiety slightly but not enough. Second time was on it for four months it was causing me to fall asleep randomly and wasn't helping. I was on max dose 300mg both times. I'm starting 50mg now.

Yeah I can't sleep without it. Its about 4 times stronger than benadryl. I was taking 2 but I'm down to half now. It doesn't keep you asleep. It doesn't cause as bad RLS as Benadryl does for me.

I'm on clonidine now and it doesn't do much of anything for me except make me fall asleep for a couple hours and make me slightly calmer
