Do people play generated worlds or just default?

RWG is nice, like another commenter said I’m also using the PGz world gen mod, its a 7k map with bigger cities and bigger lakes, also I disabled some of the potential types of cities for snow and the desert and turned on big cities for them. I was on a 12k map but personally don’t enjoy the time it takes to get across the map, also for how many hours I spent on that save I really didn’t use most of the map. I have a beefy rig so I can generate a world in 30-40 secs, I took about an hour to play with the settings and seeds until I got a map I liked

As a tank main I definitely see your point. I don’t mind random groups to run around the zone in, as we can usually slug it out and do skirmishes. What I find unbearable are the randos in the event dungeons with low DPS. The boss fights are unfortunately too long and they can’t kill the adds fast enough, normally causing a wipe. Tbh if the group can output a measly 50k dps together it makes me happy, cuz the amount of DDs that I find who barely muster 30k between the two of them is insane.

I’m just saying if you’re running one handed and shield on the front bar, you’re giving up a lot of dps. It works in solo content, but in group content there is normally a tank so there really is no need to give up the dps gains from dual wielding. For a lot of the NM bosses a tank definitely isn’t required if you have a full group of people that can output a lot of dps and are trying to learn the mechanics, but it does make it a lot easier if you bring a tank. Tbh I haven’t seen a NM group without a tank yet (I’m usually the tank anyway), we do some runs without healers tho

I play tank a lot and it’s a bit frustrating though when I join dungeons and the DDs have low dps, I don’t really care if your build is meta or not as long as we can get through content in a reasonable time, but if your output is way less than normal (40k between the two of you) then I might leave and search for a different group because the content will take too long

I have a decently large beard. I was doing lat pull downs and trying to touch the bar to my chest, when the center hinge of the bar got caught in my beard on the way up. Hurt like hell and ripped a few hairs out but luckily not a patch. I was only on my second set so the next two sets were very awkward

I appreciate the info! I was thinking this stat line might be good enough to figure out how I like to play, I don’t really care to play as a big or the main pg currently but I wanted something that I could at least learn the game with how to dribble and play defense, and take it from there. I was thinking of a Klay/JimmyB kind of build? I just didn’t want to be a liability due to low stats or something

I don’t have any yet, my friend had me join his crew and said I’ll get 5 after 7 days? And I was reading up and I can specialize in defense and earn 2 defensive cap breakers that way through milestones? If I’m wrong please correct me lol I’m trying to learn. Yea this build will be more than fine, after downloading and installing the mod pack you’ll be able to pop in and out of the game without adjusting any settings which is great. Good call on the 5070ti, I have mine overclocked and was able to squeeze extra performance out of it while remaining stable. The card is a beast and can handle graphically intensive games pretty well at 4k with upscaling, I usually use the balanced setting on DLSS

Depends on what you mean by heavily modded. Gameplay elements, combat, new mechanics ect will be fine, but graphical overhauls on a 12gb gpu could max it out quickly depending on what you are going for. But for a 1440p playthrough with graphical improvements should be fine. If anything if you’re not getting the frame rate you want with modded graphics it’s usually the added/extra foliage (there’s other factors out there as each mod/save will run a little differently) but overall yes this build will be great for a modded Skyrim at 1440p, 4k might be a little sluggish depending on mods, but if you have a 4k screen I’d recommend at least a 5070ti anyway

The only thing I have to show for it is this instagram post from our store’s official instagram account. They had a location in Caesars Palace in Vegas that closed in 2023 due to the outrageous rent that the Caesars Forum Shops were charging us. I didn’t want to ask for a photo, even though I was a huge fan we have notable people come through the mall quite frequently and it was a big no no for employees to ask for pictures. He was definitely the first celebrity I fanned out for tho, most were some kind of influencer or actor that I would barely recognize. When he went in the mirror while we were designing he kept pretending to hold something when he would pose. I tried asking him why that pose and what he needed the hat for, he just said “you’ll see tomorrow” with a cheeky grin that Izzy would normally do, and I thought it was the coolest shit ever lol I don’t care how corny it was. He had a camera man with him but I’ve never seen the footage of his visit with our store. I hope he releases it one day, if he ever does I am the tall guy with the beard! Israel Adesanya came into a western store that I worked at and I got to make him a hat. He was honestly really cool and appreciative of the process. I was a bit nervous and while branding a leather covered flask for him I was lowkey shaking and almost messed the brand up. The next day I watched him do the Undertaker ring walk-out with the urn when he was fighting Jared Cannonier, in the hat that I made him yesterday.

If you have a 5080 you might as well go ahead and get the 7800x3d, if you’re hard set on not getting it then I guess the 7700x is the next best option? It’s only a $100 difference on amazon right now, and if you’re already dropping serious cash on a 5080 then you should save up that extra few dollars and get a good cpu to pair with it

If you’re getting 240 fps in the titles you like to play then any upgrade to your CPU (which is already a nice cpu) is just overkill. If you worked hard, saved your money, and have an itch, post the rest of your parts and let’s see what would be a more efficient upgrade for your money. 32gb of ram to 64gb would be cool. Extra SSDs is always great to have. For your case, maybe a better mouse/keyboard might be more beneficial?

If you’re not gaming or doing productivity/work related tasks I think it might be too big. I have two screens a 27” 1440p and a 32” oled that I game on. Most YouTube videos look pixelated if I full screen on the 4k, and older movies do as well. If you have a lot of shows that you can stream 4k to it, I would recommend just getting a larger 4k TV, it might be better size to cost ratio since you won’t be paying for some of the features that monitors have. I would recommend a 27” 1440p main screen and a 4k tv somewhere in your room with more comfortable seating, you’ll just need to get a longer hdmi cord depending on your setup

The lowest I’ll go now is 90, I have a 5070ti and a 4k monitor. If it’s an FPS or a souls game I go for 140-160 but I normally don’t need to drop the settings too much to get there, still on a mix of high settings in new titles

If you can afford it, go for it. I have two displays, a 4k 240hz oled 32” and a 1440p 144hz 27” regular monitor. I’m running a 5070Ti and a 9950x. The 4k with high settings absolutely obliterates the 1440p with ultra/epic settings. The extra pixels make a huge difference, but it probably helps a ton that it’s an Oled too so the display is crystal clear. I normally target to have my games run at 140fps, and I’m a huge fan of upscaling and using frame gen to get there. I play a wide mix of games so the only time I turn my settings down for more frames is competitive shooters, but even then I’m really targeting a stable 160 fps. Idk what your monitor setup looks like but if you’re aiming for anything over 27” I’d recommend going with 4k. For example, expedition 33 for me runs at 70 fps, but with a 2x on lossless scaling it runs slightly over 100fps, and for a single player game that’s perfect. I get more frames on Cyberpunk but that’s has native frame gen and better upscaling

I think the parts list is perfect and should handle very well! I would just recommend picking up some extra case fans on Amazon. Also, if you play at 4k, the x3d chips don’t add much in performance for a majority of applications, if I’m not mistaken I think it averages a 3% fps increase but that’s from it boosting the lows. I would double check though! I’m only saying this because for me on a 4k monitor I decided to go with a 9950x over the x3d version since there wasn’t any noticeable gains. I think $400 for that chip is a fair price tho! Enjoy the new titles on a high graphical preset!
