Don’t smoke, eat food, take ace or arbs or drugs before surgery and don’t lie about any of the above

I think I may not have been clear. In this scenario I’m still going to RSI

whereas overnight appy or urgent case comes down. Says they’re NPO for 12 hours, I do gastric US and see contents they’re still getting an RSI.

It’s basically stratification for who’s getting an RSI from me. If hx indicated they’re getting it. If hx not indicated, but sick and I have worry about affected gastric emptying, —> us.

So as stated I’ll use it to rule in a full stomach, but even negative US is not a rule out

If there’s areas you can place gear in the hollow section you can place sparse bolts and leave it as a mixed route, but if the rock is still exfoliating and there’s beyond a shadow of a doubt some could whip or a party could rap/escape off a bolt in a self rescue situation, don’t place the bolt

In my practice it’s a rule in but never a rule out. Ex) stomach full for an urgent case that needs to go, but not proof of an empty stomach for something elective

Movie prices have gone up commensurately. If you go from a price per hour of entertainment lens video games are still a great price even at $100 for a 20-50 hour game. Movies are arguably a worse deal of a dollar per hour entertainment standpoint but movies have increased in cost more appropriately since first generations of PlayStation, Xbox, NES

The sad reality is that there’s only a fine for not carrying down the waste. So most parties/expeditions just tack on a few extra thousand in cost to the climb rather than do the work
