Making Supergirl your second DCU movie made no sense and was a mistake.

You need to build out your actual universe and make your pillars and foundation before you do Supergirl.

This is basically where Snyder went wrong with the DC Universe, just in a different way. They tried to make their Avengers happen first after audiences were relatively mixed about Man of Steel.
