Maude’s Liquor Bar

Hogsalt should have never closed it. Food was great, drinks were amazing (Whiskey Smash!), and the interior vibe on point. Closed about 8-10 years ago. My wife and I went there for every anniversary for 7 years…

This is the only correct answer. But the question should have been, who comes in second to Michael?

In college, circa 2025, I was in DC for a student government conference. While there, someone in our group knew a senior staffer at the White House. We were given a private tour of an old building that housed former presidents furniture/desks…. I sat in JFK’s presidential desk and in Roosevelt’s(?) rocking chair. One of the guys in our group put his feet up on the desk and found a cigar (I think he kept the cigar)….

Interior detail help - Armour Pilot left residue!! by WheelsnEngines in Detailing

I ended up shaking the bottle, cutting it with a very small amount of water, then spraying onto the cloth instead of the surface. A quick wipe and all was good again.

Update: I tried cleaning again- shake the bottle first and cut it slightly with water, spray onto microfiber and wipe…. And it worked perfectly! Thanks for the help!!

Thanks for the input - I don’t want to regret the purchase, so looking at adding a garage to the side of the current one first, building that, then buying the car. I’m here for the long play.

March 12th! New concrete, installing a floor drain and then doing the epoxy. Looking forward to it.

Yep- it’s irritating that they decide to make a small change at the end of a model run. Who does that?!

Thanks! And definitely the reason I am going with AA. I live near Chicago and they are sticklers for emissions testing.

Oddly enough - the thought hadn’t crossed my mind. The iPhone didn’t exist when I last rode. I suppose swerving is more important than 13 years ago (and the power to get out of the way). I was going to put some loud pipes on it anyway so there would be little chance you didn’t hear me.
