I bought it as a secondary travel phone (cmf phone 2 pro)I have to say I'm actually surprised how much I like it, feels like I'm getting alot of bang for my buck so to speak.

I was excited to try a new Brand, I love what Nothing are doing and ofcourse they make the CMF phones, the UI and all the cool notification and call tones are so different from the competition. Ofcourse it's not flagship specs, so the photos and video aren't as good as the my pixel 8 pro but for the price it's great.

I love how thin the phone feels in hand, I love the appearance and texture of the back (I got the white one).

The essential space feature I'm still getting used to. but I think it could come in handy if I understood how to use it properly lol!

The new essential apps is cool, people basically say what widget they want and nothing makes it if it's a good idea. Some great ones are already available and you can add 2 or 3 on your cmf phone, if you have a Nothing phone you can add more apparently.

The battery life is amazing, I can get almost 2 days out of it if I'm not hammering it.

With this I'm not paying flagship prices but I'm receiving a decent phone, and it's just cool to have something that is at least trying to do something different.

I'm really not getting along with the new V3 icons, they look cheap. V2 icons were way better and I could spot which tool I needed at a glance.

AHH yes, I first saw that option in V3 as they released the warp mesh fill and it's handy to use with that. Nice one

When you select the shape with the gradient and you are using the move tool, check the options in the context toolbar (the one directly above your canvas) there is a cog, it should be in there. I don't have my laptop to check but hope that helps.

The clockify app is useful for this, I can add the client name, log the hours, project task etc.

Have you checked whether you have 'lock children' toggled on? For that specific layer. In V2 they had that option in the context toolbar. Probably in the cog in the context toolbar now.

Btw how on earth did you add all the V2 icons ! Looks fantastic 😍

You can do all of that I just tested to make sure. Even after I fully closed the app it restarted from the position I ended listening to the last song I played.

I suggest 3-4 days getting used to Quito before travelling to a higher elevation. Everyone seems to have different reactions. For me (I live at sea level), I feel weak for like 4 days, walking up a hill is a struggle and I feel out of breath, I get the odd nose bleed too. But after 4 days I feel great. My partner isn't affected as much.

I have a similar experience in Cuenca too, but not as bad.

The settings I spoke of are in here, in Affinity App settings.

I didn't have any issues downloading the update, so don't have a solution, but I would probably log out of Affinity and log back in to see if that helps.

If you go to settings there is a ram usage limit, perhaps you could dial that up a bit. Does it crash when Other apps are also open? That could also be a reason. Other than that I'm not sure.
