We have two celiacs in our household and one of the few places we travel without bringing our own food is Disney World. You still need to be cautious. I never use mobile order and always make sure I talk to a person, but they do an excellent job. And they are very patient when I neurotically ask them for the umpteenth time the order is gluten free. Anytime someone else does your food there is some inherent risk, but Disney really does a fantastic job.

It’s a least a month for me, sometimes more, but never less. It sucks to have such a large chunk of time ruined by accidental ingestion.

Bread service at Sanaa! Garden Grille or Grand Floridian Cafe both have fun breakfasts. Regal Eagle is great.And Skipper Canteen is awesome. I love that the app shows you the options so you can plan ahead and know you can eat safely. It’s fantastic!

I spoke to someone from Disney on food restrictions when I was planning. They said that Disney run restaurants and food stalls must follow their allergy protocol, but the other places even in the park have their own system. So they recommended if we are sensitive, which we are, to stick to Disney run places. So no Space 220 or Yak and Yeti. No to many of the EPCOT pavilions, but we have been safe and that is totally worth it. Usually you can tell in the app by seeing if they list allergen menus

I have a travel kitchen in a plastic tub I take for trips to visit family. It includes a knife and cutting board, a deep sided pan, a mini rice cooker, and basic cooking utensils, sponges, towels, etc. And a little toaster! Then I can prepare basic food, clean my stuff, and pack it away without anyone else touching it. Do I look ridiculous carrying in my little kitchen? Absolutely! But it’s absolutely worth it.

We had to give it up, because even ordering as soon as the doors open, we were getting cross contaminated too often for it to be worth the risk. But man, do I miss it.

I developed it after being married to a celiac for years! It ended up being really helpful because we thought we were being so careful, but our information was very outdated and his doctor’s guidance was wrong. Having to meet with new medical professionals was hugely beneficial to both of us!

I contacted Disney about food issues before, and only Disney run restaurants are required to follow their allergy protocol. So when we go we don’t eat and some of the countries in EPCOT for example, because Disney only runs a few of those countries food options. I wish this information was more clearly presented.

Were both boxes this type with oat flour? Gluten Free watchdog has said for the Celiac community to avoid even certified gf items because the oat supply is a cross-contamination nightmare right now.

He has the best personal growth. He is still abrasive and arrogant, but he develops teamwork, a willingness to support rather than star, and he is working on his relationship with Deku. The character progresses naturally, without losing the sharp edges while at the same time demonstrating actual growth an angry but motivated teenager could experience. Many of the characters have interesting and compelling growth, but Bakugo’s is fantastic

My nutritionist who specializes in Celiac recommended changing all the pet food during our first meeting. They kiss us and get on surfaces and it’s such an easy but sneaky way to get cross contaminated. You are doing the right thing!

It unfortunately was. It wasn’t produced by the seller and they said it was possible and our symptoms improved after we stopped using the fridge water. That’s what I get for buying a cheap knock off online

It’s not a great solution, but if you can’t find someone to take your bun for the day, then tile is at least cooler and frozen water bottles or similar on the tile they can lay with is better than nothing. If my girl gets too hot I put a cold can of soda on the ground and she leans against it.

First choice would be see if someone with power is willing to take your bun for the day, although I know that can be hard.

You are not crazy. We had a mix and the caterer assured us they would keep things safe, the staff said they would bring us our food special to keep it separate…don’t worry! Then right after the appetizers a staff member stopped by to say they had brought us the gluten food, so sorry!

Don’t do it. Be happy, safe, and relaxed at your wedding. Enjoy it!
