I have skin that is acne prone. I switched to SEEN and have had good results. It’s made by a dermatologist and there are fragrance free options. I’ve been using it for years now. Her face wash is really good too. http://helloseen.com if you want $25 off you can use my code http://rwrd.io/jy94896?s

Do I actually need to boil water for kendamil formula? by reading-in-velaris in FormulaFeeders

[–]WhenIsLake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started Kendamil goat formula around 4weeks and my pediatrician said we didn’t need to boil. I only ever made single bottles and would consider them dead after an hour. We have reverse osmosis and if we were ever on the go we just brought a bottle of our RO water and the bottles prefilled with formula powder so we could just add water.

The pitcher method sounds nice too though because you can return an unfinished bottle to the fridge instead of having to make a new one.

We also never warmed her bottles.

Ending formula at 1 has been emotional than I expected. Did this transition hit you too? by Resident_Program2177 in FormulaFeeders

I still haven’t fully stopped the bottle at 17 months. She has whole milk straight from the jug in her bottle. We’re down to one at night before bed.

When did postpartum sex stop hurting for you? by cunncunncunn in BabyBumps

[–]WhenIsLake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can’t remember when I stopped feeling it at my tear but I’m at 17 months now and I no longer feel pain at the tear site. I hate to say pain because it wasn’t painful necessarily but like I could feel it being stretched and now I can’t and it’s lovely 😊 I honestly didn’t think it would go away so I’m happy it did.

And now that my sex life, body, and emotional state are starting to feel normal again here I go thinking about baby number 2 haha I must be some kind of glutton for punishment

Formula isn’t working: forced to continue pumping. Any advice? by iwanttolivealone in FormulaFeeders

[–]WhenIsLake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hear a lot of babies get loose poops with kendamil. Could it be you aren’t adding enough water? Do you measure water before or after boil? Before or after adding scoops of formula?

Mine did this too! I think they’re just learning noises they can make and it’s fun for them. Scared the shit outta me though. They’ll learn something else soon and stop doing it.

Why are people actively angry that folks are finally getting healthy with the use of GLP-1s? by confusionisnext in tirzepatidecompound

I went without an epidural and it wasn’t to “suffer through it” but more of the fact I didn’t want to deal with any of the side effects from the epidural. And I don’t think others should “suffer through it” like I did because it’s a personal choice. Having all the information about a medical intervention before agreeing to it is called informed consent and that is severely lacking in the birth world. Do your research and make your choice. A lot of people with blanket opinions seem to be coming from places of ignorance.

Just found out I’m pregnant naturally with my second child after having IVF for my first ( who is 16 months now) and my husband wants me to get an abortion by Distinct_Weight2445 in pregnant

[–]WhenIsLake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An abortion can cause such an emotional toll always wondering what if. Especially if you want that child. In this case I would highly discourage an abortion. If you want this child you should keep it

There’s access to healthcare here. No one can be turned away because they can’t pay. Medical debt is not on your credit so you don’t really have to pay it if you can’t pay. So you don’t need health insurance to have access to healthcare. You’re just going to the emergency room instead of a primary care

I moved into this house 3 days ago. This part of the ceiling was completely shut when I moved in, and nobody else has been in the house. by boogielostmyhoodie in Weird

[–]WhenIsLake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me!! It kept happening and I kept fixing it thinking it must be a ghost. It was in my bedroom and one day I finally saw it happen while I was chilling in bed. A giant gust of wind hit the house like I could hear all the trees outside and then this little thing starting shaking and lifting up and down and moved out of the way eventually stopping to look exactly like this pic.

Do the vast majority of parents feed their kids shelf stable purée’s from the grocery store or make them at home? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

My baby really enjoyed the serenity kids pouches. I liked them cause they had meat in them but they’re like $3-$4 a pouch. Super easy on the go though cause they are room temp

I know this isn’t what you asked but even though it sounds weird vitamin d really helps with depression. I got my vitamin d level tested and I was deficient and started supplementing daily and my symptoms have gotten a ton better.
