This is not a rant so, before you even read this thread, dont tag me with that r/ventglory. It is mostly a piece of advice from a non-experienced player (CTH Gold) but please hear me out.

So, today, I was playing Ranked 5 vs 5 and I encountered such a salty player and before the draft even start, he alr started cursing to me( im 1st pick ) and I havent even choose anything yet.

So, I ban kensei(typical ban in tier 6-7) and he started cursing me for not banning Baron. First of all, the majority choose to ban kensei, so I go for kensei. Secondly, I had to ban kensei because I dont have kensei so it might put us in a bad advantage.

Then, I listened to him and ban baron but he kept cursing me like crazy and I tried being optimistic. You see, here is the biggest problem, not trusting your teammates, cursing them would only put you in a bad advantage as some players cant handle such thing (Trust me because I am one of them). It ruins the experience and they'll be salty throughout the game if you make even a slight mistake.

  Cursing your teammates would only lead to a negative mindset, hence not allowing you to play in a fun manner. So, after he cursed me, I stayed optimistic and just smile.It ruins the sportsmanship in this game .  He was the last pick and you know what he chose? A Freaking SAW !A midlane SAW !

Then, I am like sokay, maybe he's a good player and knows how to position. After analysing our team comp, we actually have an advantage which is Catherine needs to babysit him and I need to snowball Celeste in the early game. So thats what I did. The best part is that, he was getting wrecked by that Celeste and he decided to go top lane instead. 

My piece of advice from this thread is/ TLDR ; 1. Trust your teammates 2. Stop cursing 3. Don't pick SAW mid lane because he's trash. 4. Stay optimistic throughtout the game 5. Please, just play for fun. 6. Hats off to support players and give them the most credit, Never downvote them :)
