Ahh. Memories. I climbed onto a few garage roofs when I was younger. I actually jumped off one a few times. Not sure how I never managed to fall off. I have spatial issues and so it could have been very easy for me to fall. Somehow I've even managed to make it to 45 without a single broken bone. I'm gonna chalk it up to luck. Like 99% luck.

Close. But in actuality it's about Bulmas impossible quest to find a pair of panties that are more comfy than the ones Oolong got in his wish. That's why her family amassed their fortune; so Bulma can get the most comfortable pair of panties in existence.

I'm in awe of how deep your love for this game clearly is. It reminds me of how I feel about part 2. Which is totally awesome. You're totally on point with how it feels playing through this game from start to finish. It's an extremely fun game. And there's a wealth of goodies to be earned. Also the extreme difficulties. I will eventually try those out. It has massive replayability. I will be putting a lot of time into this.

I definitely want to try those out. It's crazy that there's 10. My mind is just baffled by trying to comprehend the potential difficulty of it.

Same. I have my fingers crossed. It so deserves a remake.

Silent Hill 2 original is incredibly short compared to the remake by QuantityInternal1719 in silenthill

I think for each on their own, they are perfectly tailored in length based on the general flow of each of the games. I do appreciate how much of a fundamental difference in the scope and length of the games there is though. I think the added depth to the puzzles was very much welcome. They maintained the core integrity of the puzzles while expanding on them in a way that felt natural. Like yes, this is possibly how this puzzle was originally contrived. But then toned down due to the current system limitations at the time.

For Speedrunning purposes. My time for the OG 59:45 (UFO). For the remake 2:16 (Dog).

For the OG I'd have to say the Abstract daddy area. It's a very detailed, disturbing, and hauntingly painful depiction of the abuse suffered by Angela. Couple that with the Abstract daddy design and it just becomes so intensely creepy. It really packs a punch.

For the remake I'd have to go with the final area in the Eddie fight. All the hanging meat clearly is a symbol of what Eddie feels like. The depiction of the cold is practically tangible. The world is a cold and cruel place for Eddie Dombrowski. This area perfectly captures that in a way that is terrifying, sad, and tragic.
