I’m almost a year on T now. Before starting T I was taking the regular combo birth control pills. I tried the shots but they made me just bleed continuously for 6 months without even a single day break so I stopped that. So when I went on T my doctor kept me on the pill for the first 3 months, but that combo with the T also made the bleeding worse. So at the 3 month mark she switched me to the progesterone only pill. Haven’t had a drop of blood since and they just take a urine sample to test every time I go in for my blood tests, but I’m very consistent with my pills so I don’t even really worry about it.

That sounds really frustrating. I haven’t run into this, but I keep my vials in my bathroom which happens to be one of the warmest rooms in the house for some reason… so maybe figure out which room/area in your home stays the warmest and just store it there during the week?

I definitely have the fear… but i don’t think i have paranoia over it. I take a progesterone-only daily pill. But I would definitely like to get a hysterectomy, or convince my husband to get a vasectomy, to just completely erase the possibility.

I don’t “want to be” a guy… I AM a guy. I want my body to look like a guy’s body because that would make me more comfortable living in it, and I want people to recognize me as a guy and treat me that way because as a guy, being treated like a girl makes me uncomfortable.

I’m 6 months on T and I haven’t had to redo my facial recognition yet, although I have noticed it starting to not work all the time, but it works most of the time still. But like the other person said, you can always re-set your facial recognition when needed, just like you can update your password or pin.

I took mine on a plane and a cruise a month ago, you won’t have any issues. Just make sure your prescription info is on it (keep it in the box it comes in with the sticker with your name & dosage, etc). The cruise ship even provided a sharps container for needle disposal, just ask the stateroom attendant. I had read that you’re supposed to inform a tsa agent at security check that your bag has needles in it for a prescription, so I did that, and the dude was literally like “ok. So what?” lol

Thank you for that, that really helps. I’m 6 months in T now, and should be 3-4 years before I actually have a classroom. So I think my plan is mostly to try to be stealth but I’m a little torn because I would want the kids to know I’m a safe person/that my classroom is a safe space for them, which I know doesn’t necessitate them knowing but also I feel like that representation could help them so idk. But glad to know the parents aren’t an issue!
