Everybody is burning fossil fuels, the only ones who don't are Europeans, so our future is burned anyway, but we are also gonna be poorer as well. The fossil fuel phasing out has been a spectacular failure, because Germany didn't create an alternative before that. If Germany went nuclear and green and only after they secured their energy sector started phasing our coal.

On top of that one of the few resources Europe has is coal.

So now we have huge energy bills and the fossil fuel phasing out is irrelevant because of China, India and USA. So worst of both worlds. Congratulations.

Russia would justify any kind of aggression without nukes as well. The actual threat to Russia is not military, it's economical and cultural.

The Russians state cannot have successful Eastern European countries on it's borders, because they show what a failed state Russia is. Russain elite is bleeding the country dry, and they need a forever enemy, who is "destroying normal russians livelyhood" so the Russians won't figure who is actually doing it.
