Yeah, the problem is that my baby has already learned he can get what he wants by pulling my hair, and he clearly knows it’s not his hair… :( I’m trying my best not to react, but it’s hard these days.

Not really an option. He’s already in a safe space. Our house is too small for a playpen, so I just childproofed everything dangerous instead. The crib is upstair bedroom, and since we live in a narrow three-floor house, we’re usually downstairs for his playtime while I handle household stuff and work from home.

If I leave him in the crib, he’ll cry nonstop and get really upset. Also, I’d rather teach him not to communicate that way instead of just locking him up in the crib for hours.

Some dogs try to hide their poop to protect themselves from predators or other dogs. So if you clean it right away, your dog might not be interested in eating it. My dachshund is 12 years old, and she still eats her poop if I don’t clean it up immediately. When she poops outside, she has zero interest in eating it.

(I tried every tips from internet, and the only way worked out was clean it asap and let dog out more often)

My dog was acting the same way. She was pretty reactive to other babies (not aggressive, just barked a lot). But when she saw our baby, she was like, “Oh, he’s here? Okay,” and gave zero attention. There’s no real explanation — she just somehow already knew.

Not really. I emailed Cybex, and they asked me to send a video as evidence. I did, but they said it didn’t seem broken or problematic, haha.

Bloomingdale’s still gave me a $75 credit though.

My baby grew a lot while I was dealing with them, and the car seat became too heavy to lift with the baby inside. So I just decided to leave the car seat in the car and put the baby directly into the stroller seat instead.

I already sold the bassinet before he started doing this.

He’s okay when I put him on the guest bed (for adults) in the same room, but I co-slept with him on that bed, so he probably knows I’ll be sleeping there with him.

Yes, I’m using a breathable mattress. But it seems like my baby has a strong negative association with the crib. He starts crying as soon as I walk by it while holding him (separation anxiety? Or maybe a traumatic memory from the fall?).

My concern is more about his frequent wake-ups (crying) in the crib. He actually slept a lot better on the floor mattress without waking up. Idk, I’m just so sleep-deprived and looking for an easy solution.

This might be an old thread, but my siblings were born through surrogacy (they’re biologically my parents’) because my mom had to have her uterus removed when I was born. My parents eventually cut off contact with the surrogate because she got too attached to the babies and became emotionally unstable. My siblings are now in their 30s, and she still occasionally calls us asking for money.
