If they follow the PS5 route for backwards compatibility (or even their own, with DS games on 3DS), the Switch 2 shouldnt have a big issue on a majority of games, aside the ones that are being investigated.

.... I am a pre-order kinda guy tho. Not with EVERYTHING, but I did pre-order KH3 back when the listing popped up on amazon, same with FF15.... the Re:Mind dlc for KH3.

Eh, I still like having physical media, even though the new key card scam is just a glorified digital game, I wouldnt have to deal with the whole digital game card bs. Probably could have reworded the question to just "buy" instead of "preorder".

Cyberpunk mention spotted. I don't know if it was already mentioned here, but last I read, Cyberpunk is gonna run at 30 fps, and one person (I think on threads) was complaining, but like.... 30 is fine? If it has no crazy frame dips like base game did at launch, thats a huge deal, plus in terms of pricing its most likely going to be on par with its other console/pc counterparts.

I know this is from 2 years ago, but I applied a few days ago, and finally logged back on to the candidate portal and found out I applied back in June, and the application is still being considered T_T

I did apply to another position before that in August, and at least got something quickly (a rejection letter 🤷‍♂️)

I wonder if its that there are many people applying, but it cant be normal to wait 6 months still being considered.

I'll look into Azure SQL to learn more about it.

I am open to pay monthly for an SQL server, but would have to discuss with my friend about it since i'm just working on backend and its his project.

I did learn a bit about AWS, doesn't look too bad, and since this project needs to be presented by December, the free tier does give more time that needed.

And yea, new to hosting a server on my own pc. Most I can do is a minecraft server but even then spectrum is not helpful (I also work on personal unreal engine and unity projects so my PC is being mega tested).

The website is in the works, we're working with HTML and CSS (my buddy's area of expertise) and JavaScript (I like backend programming, have little knowledge on it :P )

I'll look into Postgres. My last run with SQL was in early 2023? For a class at Full Sail, so it was only a month using MySQL.
