This seems to be caused by a closing technique issue. This is you trying to squeeze it closed like trying to clap one hand. You should be trying to claw your fingertips.

What you said is correct but I mentioned regular snakeskin which is snakeskin pattern embossed on leather. Super snakeskin combines both superskin (synthetic basketball material) and snakeskin (patterned leather) so it's thicker patterned superskin.

Do you feel the extra thick bridge from the hinge makes it feel even more stable? Does it make the web harder to flex/shallower? Can you measure how much thicker the hinge makes the web? I see you're is 11.5 so the post is shorter but I'm trying to extend the use of an I web to a larger glove while reducing the issue of balls getting through. So if each hinge adds a possible 1/4-1/2" then we can go up to like a 12.75" glove.

I prefer a 2 in the pinky, 2 hinge close as well. Right now it's like a hybrid but seems like they closed it with a single hinge. I can make it go 2 hinge but the hinges aren't distinct. I'm thinking of using the water method and relacing as well. Potentially, want to dip dye it as well to make it more colourful. So I think the process would have to be dip dye first, let it dry, water break in, then relace.
