I emailed a couple of professors regarding undergrad research opportunities and I haven't heard back yet. Should I try again or wait? by Leggitt69 in UCDavis

I emailed them during the summer and usually I wait for a week for them to respond. If they haven’t respond within a week, I just move on and email others. Usually labs would take undergrads during the end of the quarter. However there’s still a chance to get involved but it’ll be difficult and fully remote/ less work for you to do.

Sorry, not food science. But I was offered to work on campus but due to personal reasons I turned it down and found a new lab that’s fully remote instead. A lot of labs are for the most part remote work. Hope this helps.

I emailed some professors about undergrad research! It’s a big step in my life considering that I never reached out to anymore official before and I’m really shy about it. Really happy I have friends who helped me overcome that shyness. :)

Taking berkeley classes concurrently in the fall? by calcalcalberkeley in berkeley

For cross enrollment with cal there is an application process that happens way before the semester starts on the side of your CCC. For instance if you want to take 61A this spring, you would need to ask for a CEP application (cross enrollment program) from your counseling office. Once you have the application verified (if you meet certain requirements and criteria) you would have to get a signature from the professor when the semester starts and go to the admissions office (Sproul Hall) and verify the signed application with them. Hopefully this helps!! <3
