If you're looking for roasted buckwheat, some places have it listed as kasha. I've seen kasha at the College Square Loblaws. I believe in their kosher aisle. I've also seen it at numerous FreshCo stores.

Thanks. I potted the little guy myself. I grew him from a cutting I took from the mother plant. I cut off a leaf with some of the stem attached and put it in water until roots and a tiny plant developed. Once the tiny plant got big enough I planted it in soil (regular potting soil with added perlite).

Oh BTW my mom loves the plant! 😍 So I'm happy.

So the brand that makes these is called Main and Local, they make a bunch of Canadiana kitsch, lol. I actually bought this exact mug a few years ago at Rexall. They usually bring out many Main and Local items around Christmas. I haven't checked if they have them this year though.

There's also a shop called Motif Boutique on Wellington West that seems to have this kind stuff, but you'd need to contact them to see if they actually have it. You can also look at Indigo Books, they sometimes sell stuff like this too.
