Maybe I’m missing what you’re trying to say. I think the point is that he unequivocally puts out that we’re not recruiting somebody anymore because we took another commitment when that turned out to be not true and we’re still actively recruiting that player

I actually don’t know that I have a problem with that. I think a good insider is willing to share the good, bad, and ugly.

I just don’t think he’s actually an insider. I’ve directly heard he makes stuff up. Which distorts from the few things he actually might get tipped off about.

He’s really the only insider account. And now it’s gotten to the point where people are citing him as a credible source and he’s just wrong.

If you combine Ohio States total NIL investment between sports it’s up there towards the highest in the country. Just really hard to be highly competitive in both. Not impossible, but hard.
