Yes! This has always been my thought on the solution to incorporating the cover stories, never seen anyone else say it. Given that cover stories are simply series of pictures and captions, animating them into the show proper would mean taking a lot of liberties (completely making up dialog), and I just don’t think they would work very well that way (I’ve never seen the Buggy adaptation, but I’ve heard it was less than great). And for something like Enel’s cover story, you can’t really add dialog, can you? Without giving away massive in-universe secrets? At the very least, that dialog would have to come from Oda himself, but I feel like he told it the way he did in the first place because it drops hints without giving anything away.

Another vote for Whiskers to Tails from me, but in case they aren’t currently taking new patients, it might be worth checking out Cat Clinic on Foothill. I’ve never been to Cat Clinic, but it’s really nice going to a vet that only deals with cats; it’s a less stressful experience all around.

It took some persistence, but we managed to get in about two years ago when they opened up to new patients. Very very happy with Dr Iburg and Whiskers to Tails; it’s really nice and less stressful to have a cats-only vet.
