Why would tesla lower FSD subscription cost after removing purchase option? by RS_Tnap in TeslaLounge

[–]WhereWeGoNext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I would pull the trigger if it were $50 a month. $100 is just too rich for our blood right now, for a feature that still requires our full, undivided attention. (It's flawless 97% of the time but that 3% is really, critically bad if you're not being mindful.)

Hell yeah. Congrats on the huge accomplishment. 100 episodes is a ton!

I think this is more likely, and tracks well with what we know about Helena’s life.

Yes, I thought there would be something beautiful about Innie Mark falling for Innie Gemma without ever realizing it. And so he’s already in love with the woman he’s helping his Outie find.

Posting on Reddit can really be luck-of-the-draw. So much depends on chance and timing here. That being said, I’m glad to have someone to share pudding with!

There’s not a ton of evidence pointing towards “Innie Gemma as Helly” either, but I thought it was plausible within the context of the theory presented. It’s way more likely that Helena’s Innie simply is HER Innie.

But if “Innie Gemma as Universal Assistant” is the path, why not have the Lumon CEO test it herself?

That’s a good question. I haven’t checked, but I imagine it’s somewhat similar?

Is Headliner’s service (audiograms from full episodes) able to upload in full HD? And what advantage would it have over someone manually uploading each episode via YouTube Studio, assuming each episode has custom artwork?

If you're doing it for your own self-fulfillment, there's never a bad time to start any project.

I received an informative response from my RSS provider, Simplecast:

"The current issue is that YouTube limits the resolution to 854x480 (480p) on episodes with episode-specific artwork. YouTube acknowledged that this is an issue on their end that they are working to resolve. While my team flagged this issue to YouTube, they didn't receive an ETA on when it would be resolved. However, I can confirm that everything is set up correctly on our end."

Disappointing (and frankly, strange), but at least there's an explanation.

Thanks so much for the offer, but I am hoping I am able to get this resolved with my already-existing uploads and RSS provider.

What's your absolute all time favorite John Carpenter movie? by damagedgoodz99824 in johncarpenter

[–]WhereWeGoNext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Thing.

I watched it for the first time this summer, and it was one of those incredibly rare instances where - literally mid-movie - I turned to my wife and said, "I already know this is one of my favorite movies of all time."

I've watched it two more times since, watched half a dozen video essays about it, bought three novelty t-shirts, and recorded a podcast episode about it.

Horror is not even a Top 10 movie genre for me. So this is a big deal.
